The LPP includes a collection of minerals, rocks, fossils, and biological samples. This collection is subdivided into educational and research collections. The educational collection is intended for use in teaching and outreach activities. The research collection, on the other hand, is for scientific research purposes only.
The LPP Coordination is responsible for curating the collection and is assisted by technicians, monitors, scholarship students and volunteers.
Both the educational and research collections are open to any applicant, provided they are authorized by the Coordinator, have scheduled an appointment, and are supervised by monitors or responsible persons. To schedule a visit, first review the laboratory regulations, then email us at lpp.ufrn@gmail.com with the details.
